Worldwide Digital Resources - internet

This table lists linkpages related to data from (primary) resources worldwide. You mostly will find meta-links in this table. My survey is definitively incomplete, but I hope it will provide a good starting point in your search for interesting information. At the moment it is still difficult to find primary data, especially when you are looking in foreign countries. I hope more people are going to make extensive lists for specific countries/regions as I did for the Netherlands and Belgium. I welcome (worldwide) additional meta-links and/or your comments!

GENERAL:

Some years ago the WorldGenWeb project started, with the aim to order the big numbers of genealogical data at Internet. These sites or pages are trying to give visitors some information's about a country or region and some of them also try to gather links to data from primary sources. The amount of links to primary data differs a lot. Beside it you can find other "rings" all made to help the genealogical researchers, for example the GenRing.
